  1. 1.Why this policy exists

    1.1

    Rykon Mail sends and receives your company’s email. Every account shares the reputation of the services that deliver it, so these rules protect your own mail as much as everyone else’s. This policy forms part of the terms of service.

  2. 2.Mail only people who asked for it

    2.1

    Send marketing only to people who gave you their address and expect to hear from you, with the consent the law where they live requires (for example express or implied consent under CASL, and consent or a soft opt-in under PECR and the GDPR).

    2.2

    Do not use purchased, rented, scraped, harvested, appended or shared lists, and do not mail addresses you found or guessed. Do not import a list you cannot show was collected with consent.

  3. 3.Say who you are

    3.1

    Every message comes from a domain you own and have verified with us, under your real name or your company’s. No spoofing, no disguised or forged senders or headers, and no subject lines that mislead about the content.

  4. 4.Give an easy way out

    4.1

    Bulk and marketing mail must carry a working unsubscribe and your postal address. Rykon Mail adds both to every campaign and automated email; do not remove or obscure them, and do not ask for anything more than an address to unsubscribe. Do not re-add a person who unsubscribed without their fresh consent.

  5. 5.Prohibited content and conduct

    5.1

    You may not use Rykon Mail to send, store or facilitate:

    • phishing, malware, credential harvesting, fraud, scams or impersonation of another person or organisation;
    • harassment, threats, hate speech, or content that exploits or endangers children;
    • content that infringes intellectual property or privacy rights, or that is otherwise unlawful where it is sent or received;
    • mail promoting illegal goods or services, or regulated products in breach of the rules that govern them;
    • attempts to probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the service, or to get around its security, authentication or limits, without our written permission.
  6. 6.Stay within the limits

    6.1

    Do not spread one sender’s volume over several accounts or domains to get past sending limits, and do not use Rykon Mail to relay mail for third parties who have not signed up themselves.

    6.2

    AI agents must be configured so they do not send unsolicited mail. You remain responsible for their messages.

  7. 7.How it is enforced

    7.1

    New accounts start with a sending limit per domain, raised on a paid plan. Every account’s bounce and complaint rates are measured continuously by the service that delivers its mail.

    7.2

    An account whose bounce or complaint rate shows it is sending mail people did not ask for has its sending stopped automatically, before it can harm anyone else’s delivery. Receiving mail and reading existing mail keep working. We then contact the account owner, and sending resumes once the cause is understood and fixed.

    7.3

    Serious or repeated misuse ends the account. Where content is unlawful, we may preserve it and report it to the authorities as the law requires.

  8. 8.Reporting abuse

    8.1

    Report abuse from a Rykon Mail sender to abuse@rykonmail.com, with the full message headers if you can. We review every report.
