Send yourself a step, try a dry run on a sample person, then switch it on. Pausing keeps everyone's place.

Try it before it goes live

  • Send me step sends the selected email step to your own address, marked as a test.
  • Try it on someone runs a dry run of the saved journey for a sample person, with a name, tags, and whether they open and click. It shows each step, whether its condition holds, and how they end. Nothing is sent and nobody is changed.

Switch it on

Choose Switch on. Unsaved changes are saved first. Everyone who subscribes from now gets the sequence.

To switch on, every email needs a subject and a message, the sender needs a domain that is ready to send, and the account needs a postal address in Settings. If something is missing, the editor says what.

Pause or delete it

  • Pause stops it: nothing is sent and nobody new starts until you switch it on again. People part-way through wait where they were.
  • Delete is offered only while the automation is off and nobody has ever started it.
