Put a form on your website
In the page, as a pop-up, behind a button, attached to your own form, or as a plain link. Two lines of code at most.

In Audience, open Sign-up forms and choose Put it on your site on the form. Pick how it should appear, copy the code, and check it is working. Each code box has a Copy button.
1. Choose how it appears
| Option | What visitors get |
|---|---|
| In the page | The form sits where you put it, sized to fit. |
| Pop-up | Appears after a few seconds, when they scroll down, or as they go to leave. Closed, it stays away for 14 days; once they sign up, it never shows again. |
| On a button | Any button or link on your site opens the form. |
| Your own form | Keep your design; Rykon Mail receives the sign-ups and keeps the proof. |
| Just a link | For social bios, QR codes and emails. No website needed. |
2. Paste the code
The first line loads Rykon Mail once per page, anywhere in it. The second places the form. To add more forms to a page, add more second lines. The console fills in your form's own code; it looks like this:
<script src="https://app.rykonmail.com/assets/forms/embed.js" async></script>
<div data-rykonmail-form="YOUR-FORM-ID"></div>For a pop-up, the second line carries when to show it, for example data-show="delay:8" (seconds, up to 120), data-show="scroll:50" (percent of the page) or data-show="exit":
<div data-rykonmail-form="YOUR-FORM-ID" data-mode="popup" data-show="delay:8" data-snooze="14"></div><button data-rykonmail-open="YOUR-FORM-ID">Subscribe</button>Your own form
Style it any way you like. Keep the field names, the consent box and its words: they are the record of what each person agreed to. The console gives you a starting point with your own consent text in it:
<form data-rykonmail-attach="YOUR-FORM-ID">
<input name="name" placeholder="Your name">
<input name="email" type="email" required placeholder="you@example.com">
<label>
<input name="consent" type="checkbox" required>
Your consent text, exactly as set on the form
</label>
<button type="submit">Subscribe</button>
<p data-rykonmail-message></p>
</form>3. Check it is working
Enter the page address, like yourcompany.com/newsletter, and choose Check. We read the page as it is sent, the way a search engine would. Sites that draw everything in the browser show up under Live on once a visitor loads the form.
Analytics
- Every sign-up fires the browser event
rykonmail:subscribedon the page. - With Google Tag Manager on the page, each sign-up also arrives in the data layer as
rykonmail_subscribe, ready for a conversion tag. - The form uses no cookies. A pop-up remembers only that it was closed or used, in the visitor's own browser.
