Sender and subject sets the first three things anyone sees: who it is from, the subject, and the line after it.
- From name: a name people recognise, like your company.
- From address: the part before the @ and one of your domains. Only domains that are ready to send are offered.
- Subject: up to 200 characters. Under about 50 reads in full on a phone. You can use merge fields, like
{{ name | there }}. - Preview line: shown after the subject in most inboxes. Up to 200 characters.
Replies
Give your campaigns a reply inbox, and every reply is matched to its campaign, counted in the results and forwarded to your team. Nothing ever replies to customers automatically.
- Step 1: Under Replies, choose the domain for the inbox under Inbox on. It is
replies@your domain. - Step 2: Under Forward replies to, enter your own people: an address on your domains, or someone on your team.
- Step 3: Choose Set up. Forwarded replies carry the customer as the reply address, so answering writes straight to them.
To send replies somewhere else for one campaign, tick Use a different reply address for this campaign. Those replies are not tracked or counted.
Your postal address
Every copy carries your postal address and a one-click unsubscribe link. If no address is set, this step says so, and the campaign cannot send until you add one in Settings, Sender details.
