Start a campaign
Have writing help draft it, start from a layout, bring an email you already have, or copy a past campaign.

Campaigns are written in Campaign Studio: seven steps from what the campaign is for to approving and sending it. Before your first, add your postal address in Settings and make sure a domain is Ready, because both are needed to send.
Open the New campaign dialog
- Step 1: Go to Campaigns and choose New campaign. Owners and admins see the button.
- Step 2: Under Name it, for you and your team, give it a name like "Autumn range launch". Without one, it is called Untitled.
- Step 3: Choose one of the ways to start, below. Studio opens on the new draft.
The ways to start
Describe it, and writing help drafts it
Write a sentence, like "Tell our customers about the three new autumn teas", and choose Draft it for me. The campaign opens on Content and writing help drafts the whole email from it and your brand. You see the draft before anything changes, and every word stays yours to edit.
Start from a layout
Simple gives your name, a headline, a few lines and a button. The other layouts are ready-made designs, each with a live preview. Once you have set up your brand, switch between In your brand and Original colours to see them in your own look.
Bring an email you already have
Choose an HTML file under 900 KB, or paste its HTML. The words, pictures, links and buttons come across as blocks you can edit; scripts, tracking pixels and the old footer are left out. Check the summary of what was found, then choose Start from this email.
Your templates and past campaigns
Your templates are designs anyone on the account saved with Save as template. Copy a past campaign offers your recent sent campaigns and duplicates the one you choose.
Moving through Studio
The step rail runs Brief, Audience, Sender and subject, Content, Personalisation, Preview and test, and Check and send. You can open any step at any time. A step gets a green tick when it is done, and a red mark when something on it stops the send. Drafts save as you go, and the header says when they last saved.
