Images and tracking pixels
Why pictures are hidden at first, how to show them once or always for a sender, and what happens to tracking pixels.

Many senders put pictures in a message that load from their own servers, and some add an invisible one-pixel image that tells them when and where you opened it. Rykon Mail holds every picture back until you ask for it, and removes tracking pixels altogether.
- Step 1: A message with hidden pictures shows a bar: 2 images are hidden to protect your privacy.
- Step 2: Choose Show images to see them in this message.
- Step 3: Choose Always from this sender to show them every time this address writes to you.
Shown pictures still come through Rykon Mail, never straight from the sender, so they learn nothing about you either way. Pictures sent inside the message (a logo, a screenshot pasted into the body) always show.
Always from this sender is kept with your sign-in, not in one browser, so it holds on every device. Manage the list under Mail settings, Images, where Stop showing removes a sender.
