Search your mail
Find a message by its words, its sender or recipients, its date, whether it is unread or has an attachment.

- Step 1: Choose the search box at the top, or press
/. - Step 2: Type words from the subject, the sender or the message, and press Enter. Mail searches the folder you are in.
- Step 3: To narrow it, choose Search filters: From, To, After, Before, Has an attachment, Unread and Starred, then Search.
- Step 4: The list shows Search results. Clear it with the cross in the search box, or Esc.
